We recently rescued Gus from the Stanislaus Animal Shelter in Modesto. He was found as a stray with missing teeth and cropped ears.
He’s covered in tumors, including one that is open and has been bleeding on his penis, causing a bad infection. His temperature was 105, causing us to place him on antibiotics
He was scheduled to start having his tumors removed, however, contacted kennel cough. His surgeries will be scheduled shortly.

He underwent surgery to remove the dead skin and to clean the surface. He’s on antibiotics and pain medication.
His recovery is expected to take 2-3 months.
Josie was intentionally rescued from a high kill shelter by an independent rescuer. She was adopted into what she thought was her forever home.
However, five years later, it was discovered that she had a large cancerous tumor in her throat. They returned her to her rescuer. She didn’t have the funds to care for her and was going to let her live her left out.
Josie was recued, then sent back, and now we rescued her. She deserves an amazing life. We have spent over $13,000 on her care
